Strong storms, flash flooding roll through north Georgia Friday afternoon
A line of strong thunderstorms swept through Atlanta and north Georgia on Friday afternoon, producing gusty winds, frequent lightning and pockets of flash flooding, the National Weather Service and 11Alive's Weather Impact Team reported. The storms were expected to clear overnight with more scattered activity possible Saturday.
