High Museum “Access for All” — Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
1280 Peachtree St. NE, Midtown. The High opens its doors free of charge on Wednesday with timed tickets for the blockbuster Amy Sherald: American Sublime exhibition — the Sherald show featuring Michelle Obama’s official White House portrait has been a major draw since opening. Tickets are released in batches and have been going quickly, so sign up early at high.org.
MLB All-Star Game watch party at The Battery Atlanta — Tuesday, 7 p.m.
The 96th Midsummer Classic takes place at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, but Truist Park’s neighboring entertainment district The Battery is hosting a watch party on the plaza. The Braves have five All-Stars in the game — closer Raisel Iglesias, rookie catcher Drake Baldwin, starter Chris Sale, second baseman Ozzie Albies, and first baseman Matt Olson — and the watch party is free to attend.
Atlanta United at Charlotte FC — Saturday, 7:30 p.m.
The Five Stripes hit the road for Bank of America Stadium to take on Charlotte FC and U.S. Men’s National Team captain Tim Ream. Atlanta is back from the World Cup break and looking to climb the Eastern Conference standings.
Flicks on the Bricks at Duluth Town Green — Friday, 6 p.m.
3167 Main St., Duluth. The free outdoor movie series continues with “Monsters University” (G). Bring a blanket or low-back chair and grab dinner from one of the downtown food trucks.
“Oasis” at the High Museum — Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
1280 Peachtree St. NE, Midtown. The High’s monthly wellness-and-art drop-in event returns with a guided yoga session in the atrium, a paper-lantern art-making workshop inspired by Isamu Noguchi, and access to the museum galleries. Spots for the yoga class are first-come, first-served; sign up at one of two check-in desks between 11 and 11:30 a.m. or 12 and 12:30 p.m.
